The comics are drawn in different styles and artistic expressions, where a single- or multi-panel comic can look like almost anything. The exhibition shows how comics creators have reflected on and rebelled against the state of the world, creating comics that are both hilarious and dead serious.

The exhibition is based on Anna Nordenstam’s and Margareta Wallin Wictorin’s research on Swedish feminist comics. They have co-written several articles on the subjects, and authored the texts in the exhibition.

The exhibition is designed by the Museum of Women´s history and is based on Anna Nordenstam´s and Margareta Wallin Wictorin´s research on Swedish feminist comics.
